Objective
The Colombian coffee roaster's brand identity centers around Colombian farmers' deep-rooted traditions and the high plateaus' vibrant cultural tapestry. This identity aims to evoke a sense of authenticity, warmth, and respect for the craft of coffee cultivation while highlighting the rich heritage that informs every aspect of the brand.
Brand mark
The logo prioritizes simplicity and elegance, incorporating elements that symbolize Colombian heritage. A custom stylized typography with added elements inspired by Columbian fauna and coffee plants serve as the focal point. The colour palette draws inspiration from the natural landscapes of Colombia. Earthy tones like rich browns and warm yellows reflect the coffee’s origin while symbolizing the land and its resources. Accent colors such as vibrant reds or blues are introduced to represent the cultural elements found in traditional Colombian textiles and art.
Illustrative Elements
Hand-drawn illustrations that depict traditional transportation in Chivas and the diverse flora and fauna of the high plateaus enhance the brand’s storytelling. These illustrations are used across packaging, promotional materials, and the website, creating a cohesive and captivating narrative around the product.
Packaging Design
The packaging reflects sustainability, with materials that are eco-friendly and convey a sense of authenticity. Each coffee bag features the main logo on the front, along with an illustrated scene showcasing the coffee-grower region based on the variety of beans. Informative descriptions of the coffee origin and tasting notes are printed in both English and Spanish to honor the brand's roots and reach a wider audience.
For the coffee cards, captivating illustrations draw inspiration from the country’s rich flora, fauna, and diverse cultural heritage. Each artwork evokes lush landscapes, from the vibrant green coffee plantations nestled in the Andes to the intricate patterns found in local artisan crafts.
This unique fusion of nature and culture highlights the essence of Colombian coffee but also celebrates the artistry behind each cup, inviting viewers to savour the stories intertwined with every sip.
